Few words about me
I come from the Czech village surrounded by hills and deep forests. Since my age of 12 years I like to paint ouside and take inspiration from the nature around me. Nature offers a quieting of my own soul, but portraits offer a glimpse into the worlds of those I paint. About 15 years I did restoration of wall paintings and studied historical techniques of paintings on the canvas and murals too. I painted numerous copies of paintings, specially paintings from 19th and 20th century. During studies on Academy of Fine Arts in Prague I did technological copies of medieval and baroque paintings in National Galleries. Knowledge of the techniques I apply also in my own painting and I like to try various styles and materials in it.
